By booking or purchasing a session, you agree to these terms.
The Interview Stack is an independent interview coaching service for software engineers.
The service is provided by Stephen Ashbee and focuses on helping candidates prepare for interviews, communicate their experience more clearly, understand interview expectations, and improve their interview performance.
The Interview Stack is not affiliated with any current or former employer.

Hiring decisions depend on many factors, including the role, company, level, competition, interview performance, and the employer's own evaluation process.
You are responsible for:
You must not share confidential information from your current employer, previous employers, interview processes, or any third party during coaching sessions.
To avoid conflicts of interest, I do not provide coaching to candidates who are actively interviewing with Personio or planning to apply to Personio in the near future.
If this applies to you, please tell me before booking or as soon as possible.
I may decline or cancel a booking if I believe there is a potential conflict of interest.
Coaching calls may be recorded, transcribed, and summarised using AI tools.
This is used to support note-taking, create session summaries, provide follow-up feedback, and improve the service.
You will be told before any call is recorded. If you do not want the call to be recorded or transcribed, you can opt out before or during the session. In that case, I will disable recording and transcription where possible and take manual notes instead.
You can request a copy of your transcript or notes by emailing hello@theinterviewstack.com.
AI-generated notes may contain mistakes and should not be treated as a perfect record of the session.
Paid coaching sessions must be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed.
Your booking may not be confirmed until payment has been received.
Prices may change over time, but any confirmed booking will be charged at the price agreed at the time of booking.
You can reschedule a session with at least 24 hours' notice.
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, the session may be non-refundable, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

If you are booking as a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase.
However, if you ask for the coaching service to take place within that 14-day period, you agree that the service can start before the end of the cancellation period.
If the session has already been fully delivered, you may lose the right to cancel and receive a refund for that session.
All materials provided by The Interview Stack, including session notes, templates, frameworks, and written feedback, are for your personal use only.
You must not copy, resell, publish, share, or distribute these materials without written permission.
