The Interview Stack is an independent interview coaching service run by Stephen Ashbee.

This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you visit this website, book a call, make an enquiry, or use my coaching services.

1. Information I collect

I may collect the following information:

I only collect information that is relevant to providing interview coaching, managing bookings, processing payments, and improving the service.

2. How I use your information

I use your information to:

I do not sell your personal information.

3. Call recording, transcription, and AI notes

Coaching calls may be recorded, transcribed, and summarised using AI tools.

This is used to help create useful coaching notes, feedback, and follow-up actions after the session. Recordings and transcripts may also help me improve the quality of the service.

You will be told before any call is recorded. If you do not want a call to be recorded or transcribed, you can opt out before or during the call. In that case, I will disable recording and transcription where possible and take manual notes instead.

You can request a copy of your transcript or session notes by emailing hello@theinterviewstack.com.

AI-generated notes may contain mistakes, so they should be treated as a helpful summary rather than a perfect record of the conversation.

4. How your information is stored

Your information may be stored in tools used to run The Interview Stack, such as email, calendar, booking, payment, video conferencing, note-taking, document storage, or website platforms.

Reasonable steps are taken to keep your information secure and only use trusted service providers where possible.

5. How long I keep your information

I only keep your personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

As a general guide:

You can request deletion of your coaching notes, transcripts, or recordings at any time, unless I need to keep certain information for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-related reasons.

6. Sharing your information

I may share your information with trusted third-party providers that help me run the business, such as:

I do not share your information with your employer, target companies, recruiters, or interviewers.

7. International users

The Interview Stack is based in the United Kingdom, but may work with clients in the US, Canada, and other countries.

Some service providers used to run the business may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, I aim to use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards in place.
